The Chain of Command

I’ve not put any thought into who the boss is around here.

I mean, it’s me.

Heh.

I think.

Or was.

Until I got the real scoop from my son’s backseat conversation with his sister.

“You’re not in charge of anybody,” he told her.

She didn’t flinch. “What about dad?”

“Mom’s in charge of him,” he quipped.

And then added with a fat smile, “and I’m in charge of mom.”

None of them realize that they are all “in charge” of mom….because mom does things all day, EVERYDAY, that they need. RIGHT???

Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!! How cute!! Should I pray for mom now or during son’s puberty years?

HA HA HA HA HA and a little more giggle giggle. Seriously? Where does he come up with his material?
